River Winds Farm has the perfect blend of rustic flare to modern touches. They are located in a beautiful area of Saco where you have endless fields and farm land behind the venue. You have the option to have your ceremony on their gorgeous brick patio overlooking the fields, or down by their pond area. Along with a stunning barn to have your dinner and dancing in, they offer a farmhouse which is huge for anyone staying on property.

We love working there because the staff is amazing, they are very well put together and being on property gives you a sense of relaxation with the fields, farms and horses all around you.

A few tips for the property would be to have a clear vision on where you’d like each element of your wedding to take place (i.e. ceremony, cocktail hour, reception). They have so many choices and so much space that the sky’s the limit.

We recommend adding some up lighting inside the barn for a really cool touch of color. The barn is so well laid out you can get an awesome symmetrical look inside. If you’re planning to offer a photo booth to your guests, we recommend having that inside the barn versus on their large patio or deck. It’s a bigger success when all forms of entertainment are in the same space.
