From handling our custom request for our entrance song for the ceremony, to making sure the energy never left the dance floor during the reception, Shawn was an absolute pleasure, and we were grateful to have him as our DJ. We can't recommend Russ with Music Man DJ enough! From the very beginning, Russ was an absolute pleasure to work with. He struck the perfect balance between offering his expertise and allowing us to create a wedding that truly reflected our vision. We always felt heard, and his guidance made the planning process so much easier. One thing that really stood out was how invested he was in making our day a success. He even came out to our venue on an island ahead of the wedding for a site walkthrough to make sure every detail was covered and everything would run seamlessly. That level of dedication meant so much to us. On the wedding day, everything was absolutely perfect. The ceremony and reception flowed effortlessly, the sound was flawless, and the music was exactly what we had hoped for. Once the dance floor opened, Russ absolutely nailed it. The energy was incredible, and we've heard from so many guests that it was one of the best wedding dance floors they've ever experienced. The playlist was epic, and people were dancing all night long. Thank you, Russ, for helping make our wedding everything we dreamed it would be. The questionnaire was thoughtful, thorough, and gave us confidence that our preferences and vision would be reflected throughout the day. The portal also helped keep everything organized leading up to the wedding. As an LGBTQ+ couple, we were intentional about finding vendors who would create a welcoming and inclusive environment. From our first conversation, DJ Shawn made us feel completely comfortable. He was kind, respectful, and genuinely supportive, and we always felt that The Music Man DJ Service was a safe and welcoming space. My husband and I worked with Jason for our wedding based on our coordinator’s recommendation, and it was one of the best decisions we made for the whole event! Jason was incredible through the planning process — easygoing, kind, reassuring, and a great listener. He offered suggestions without ever pushing, and he responded quickly whenever we reached out. We appreciated the “get to know you” conversation he set up and found the detailed run-through call super helpful. For the wedding, he arrived right on time, set up seamlessly, and emceed our day beautifully. It almost felt like we knew him personally because of how warm he was. We had a fantastic time with Rob! He arrived earlier than expected, he was professional, super friendly (in a good way), and asked lots of questions to understand my expectations. I can tell you, since I've never worked with your company, I was a little concerned with how the evening would go and as soon as I met Rob, those concerns were quickly removed. When I was testing out the photo booth, I saw an issue and let Rob know. He quickly contacted who he needed to so that he could fix the boarder issue and got that resolved in no time. We booked the Music Man DJ Service for our November 2025 wedding in Norway, Maine, and would highly recommend them for any event or celebration. They are professional, communicative, and affordable. We chose to work with Jason, and he was THE BEST! He met with us ahead of time to help us thoughtfully plan out our reception timeline. We had a couple of unique requests, which included having our married couples' first dances played. This was such a memorable part of the reception, and Jason's attention to detail made it possible. Our guests were on the dance floor until the end of the night, and we've been continually receiving compliments about the music choices!
