Top notch wedding DJ! One of our biggest concerns was that our dance floor might be empty, but it was packed all night thanks to Jason! He listened to exactly what we wanted and what we didn't want. He kept the party going, and we had a blast on the dance floor! His "App" helped us plan our day seamlessly too from the ceremony through the reception. He managed to provide music and audio for our ceremony at the top of Cranmore mountain via a chair lift, and was still able to be ready for cocktail hour immediately following at the base of the mountain. Our families are not dancers but she had almost everyone on the dance floor. The music for our ceremony, announcement, and first dance were perfectly cued and set up. She was great on the mic when needed but kept the focus on our guests and the music. Barbra showed us exactly what she was thinking for cocktail hour and pre-ceremony in advance, and welcomed suggestions to modify her playlists to make sure we loved the music. We had DJ Jeff Foran for our wedding on October 4th, and he was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, Jeff was professional, organized, and so easy to work with. He took the time to understand our vision and executed everything perfectly. Our ceremony was a traditional Methodist one, and even though it was his first time handling that format, he followed the flow seamlessly with the MP3s we provided - everything was timed flawlessly. Then once the reception started, he completely transformed the atmosphere. His transitions were smooth, his mixing was spot-on, and he read the crowd so well that the dance floor was packed all night long! He nailed the perfect blend of genres for all ages and kept the energy high from the first dance to the very last song. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how much fun they had and how incredible the music was. I officiated a wedding at The Everlee in Acton, ME and Barbra Jean was the DJ helping with sound during the ceremony and music during the reception. She was completely set up and ready to go when I got there an hour early. She had a lapel mic ready to go for me and we got right to the sound check. The sound was excellent for this outdoor wedding ceremony and Barbra was right on top of fade outs and transitions. Let me start off by saying how much fun my (now) husband and I had working with Jason from MusicMan DJ!!! He guided us through song selections we had no idea what we were doing and had a guest crowd ranging from people in their 80’s to kids under 10. He made adjustments we requested to our first dance song and mother/groom dance so they were shorter and more to-the-point. He read the crowd throughout the night so well. He came and checked with us to make sure we were ready for what was coming next (cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc). The whole experience was fantastic and again, we had SO much fun working with Jason! Spoke with him a few times prior to the wedding, send him some sample playlists and our preferences and he delivered!! This man was running around from one DJ booth to the other IN THE POURING RAIN for hours making sure the guest had an amazing time and keeping the vibes up.
