Another jewel property in Kennebunkport, The Nonantum has a stunning back lawn that overlooks the Kennebunk River. They typically have their ceremonies on their spacious back lawn overlooking the water which is a great backdrop. The lawn can also double as a great and laidback area for cocktail hour hosting lawn games and a great view of the passing ships. Another cool element The Nonantum offers is through their affiliation with some local ships. They can have the couple or with their wedding party, arrive to the ceremony by boat which is such a cool touch!

We love services The Nonantum because it’s a beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff and very well run. They have a beautiful ballroom that has that coastal Maine charm and looks incredible with some added up lighting against their columns that run through the ballroom.

A great tip would be to utilize the adjoining room off the ballroom as a secondary photo booth spot. The bar is located in here so it will get a lot of foot traffic, but be removed enough from the dancing so your guests can enjoy a fun picture at the photo booth.
